Fabulous food, exceeded our expectations.  Fish and chips and seafood linguine was outstanding.  Great team, very prompt and friendly.  Will define maki g this one of our go to places.  Thank you

It was packed and yet still we got attentive service with a smile from Ollie and the team. Great food too, I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

We hadn&rsquo;t been for a little while. We last went as a family booking for Christmas. My wife chose the fish both last time and this time. Sea Bass.  Last time it was definitely over cooked and hard, not very nice! This time a completely perfectly cooked Sea Bass. She thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Lamb. Very good.  Very attentive staff. Many families in this day, but to me that&rsquo;s a great sign. Really enjoyed our meals. Thank youOh lovely Fentimens ginger beer.

We ended up a party of six. I realised, having been asked by one of my guests, that I&#39;ve been coming to this Restaurant for something like forty years and I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed. The food is really good and the service manages to be both friendly and efficient.

My adult son and I went as a treat to ourselves. I enjoyed my pork very much, however, my son was disappointed with his burger. I too thought it was a little on the mean side! For the price I would have expected larger and I definitely would not expect you to use that ghastly cheese which comes in slices between cellophane!! As a result it was very messy and does not taste authentic! For such a nice Pub/restaurant I&#39;m abit surprised that you would cut corners..

Eaten here a few times recently and enjoyed it.  Service is attentive without being over the top and the standard of food is good.  The &#39;background&#39; music could, at times, do with being a bit more in the background.  As we age to much background noise can make it hard to hear!

Excellent service on what was clearly a busy night with Christmas dinners. Food was well cooked although the chips served were a little over done. The waitress was really helpful when dealing with my wife&rsquo;s coeliac disease, although there were quite a few limitations on what she could order. Something we get used to unless we eat at venues where all the food is cooked in house. A pity really given that roughly 1 in 10 have the disease.  All that being said we would happily eat here again.
